If you would like Mandi to keep your valuables/essentials safe for you
during the race you need to put them in a small plastic ziplock sandwich bag (20cm x
25cm), clearly labelled with your name, phone number and an alternate phone number. This is an amazing facility that Mandi offers, and saves you having to queue up with the
thousands of people at the SMH bag check. Please note that as there are 453 of us on
the team Mandi cannot mind backpacks, loose jumpers, or anything that does not fit in the
These need to be checked in at the SMH Baggage Check in Hyde Park, which
opens at 5am. Arrive early if you need to use this facility. You need to check it in BEFORE
5.45 so you don't miss the team photo.

Post-Race Meeting Spot
Our team has been allocated a special area at the end of the race as our team meeting spot, at the spot on the map marked as ‘C’ (near Park Street).
There will be 3 pop up tents and our RFPB banner. We will have plenty of drinks available
for you, as well as a massage therapist who will be offering free 10 minute rub-downs for
your sore limbs!
You can collect your valuables from here. Please arrange for any spectators to meet you
here after the race.
Our Fastest Runners
If you think you may be a RFPB winner please text me your name and time on the clock as soon as you can after you finish the race. We'd love our fastest man and fastest woman to be at the prize-giving presentation to collect your prize and trophy at 3.00pm at the Coogee Diggers Club.
A good place for spectators to stand to watch you run is near the Cathedral on the corner of College St and Prince Albert Road. From here they will see
you run into the Botanic Gardens at approximately 16km and then they can move to close to the finish line at the fountain near by in Hyde Park.
