How to set up your Everyday Hero Fundraising page

When you join the team you need to open a fundraising page with Everyday Hero, which is linked to our team page.  To do this please follow these simple steps.

  • Go to our Wagga Wagga team page
  • Click the orange button: ‘Join team’ (This can be found next to the ‘Team Members’)
  • Fill in the details asked for:  Email, Name, Password, Name (alternatively click on the Facebook button if you’d like to log in through Facebook)
  • You will see our charity ‘The Royal Hospital for Women Foundation’ is already entered as our charity on the next page.  You just need to enter your page name (Please use your first and last name), your birthday and address.
  • Click ‘Create Supporter Page’
  • On this page you will see a list of ‘4 SMALL ACTIONS’ for you to complete.  You will see you can add a photo of yourself, set your own fundraising target (minimum $100 please) and write a description of why you’re running on the team or why you’d like your friends to sponsor you. 

When you post your page you can also link it to your Facebook or Twitter accounts if you’d like to.

 You will have a personal URL that you can send out to your contacts when asking them to support you by making a donation to your fundraising page, and they can leave messages of support for you when they make a donation.

How to set up your Everyday Hero Group Fundraising page

If you would like to raise funds as a group, you need to open a group fundraising page with Everyday Hero, which is linked to our team page.  To do this please follow these simple steps.

 

  • Choose one of your group to be a group leader. This person should go to our team page

  • Click the orange button: ‘Join team’ (This can be found next to the ‘Team Members’)
  • Fill in the details asked for:  Email, Name, Password, Name (alternatively click on the Facebook button if you’d like to log in through Facebook)
  • You will see our charity ‘The Royal Hospital for Women Foundation’ is already entered as our charity on the next page. You just need to enter your page name (choose a team name - eg if it were my husband and I it would be Sophie & Ash Smith, your birthday and address. 

  • Click ‘Create Supporter Page’
  • On this page you will see a list of ‘4 SMALL ACTIONS’ for you to complete.  You will see you can add a photo of yourself, set your own fundraising target (minimum $100 please) and write a description of why you’re running on the team or why you’d like your friends to sponsor you. IN THIS SPACE PLEASE NAME ALL THE RUNNERS IN THIS GROUP.
  • When you post your page you can also link it to your Facebook or Twitter accounts if you’d like to.
  • Please email me once you have set up your team page letting me know the names of all the runners fundraising through this page.
