Runnning for Premature Babies: Training Program
RFPB's training program is designed by team coach Mandi O'Sullivan-Jones of Fighting Fit Health Consultancy to ensure all runners are race fit and ready come half marathon race day.
Mandi's program takes in both organised RFPB training (weekend and midweek) and self-training outside of team training. Starting on January 30, Mandi's program will have you fighting fit and ready to tackle those 21.1km on race day.
In addition to weekly team long runs on Sunday mornings and midweek interval training, our training program also includes a weekly run club in Centennial Park on Fridays.
RFPB team members can also join Rejoov Runners twice a week for training in Centennial Park and Pilates on Thursday evenings (text 0418418222 to book).
