This November I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge
November is one of two months that holds meaning to our family. It’s Premie Awareness Month.
As some of you would know our little girl Stevie was born suddenly at 32 weeks, 1.9kgs and the size of Jake’s hand, with both herself and me in critical condition. If it weren’t for NICU, she wouldn’t be here today!
After going through my own health challenges the last couple of years, I’m finally biting the bullet and stating something I’ve wanted to do but been unable to - I’ll be clocking up my kms in the Premmie Marathon Challenge to raise funds for life-saving neonatal equipment that will give critically ill and premature babies a better chance of survival.
