How the Kids Fun Run works

The Kids Fun Run is on Sunday 25 August 2024 in 4 locations or join our virtual fun run from where ever you are:

~ Coogee (NSW),
~ Sunshine Coast (QLD),
~ Gold Coast (QLD), and
~ Twin Ovals 1 (Top Oval) - 35 Twin Ovals Rd, Kingston TAS

From 11am, all children (12 years and under) walk, run, or roll (wheelchair or pram) as many laps as they can.

Everyone is a winner and no distance is too short, none too far (within the time limit).

Entry is $25 and everyone receives a T-shirt and a special finisher’s medal.

Prams welcome and parents can run with kids!

How does the Kids Fun Run work?

There are Kids Fun Run events in 5 locations in Australia plus a Virtual option. Choose a location that works for you, and register. On the day, you'll check in before 11am, be given a shirt for your child/ren and we'll let you know when the Fun Run will start.

It's a fun activity with no winners. Run as many laps as your child would like. At the end, all the children will receive a medal.

Or you can run your own Kids Fun Run whereever you are. Simply click 'Virtual Fun Run' when you register. We'll send a t-shirt to every child who raises $50 or more.

Is there an entry fee?

Yes, your entry fee of $25 per child is a donation to Running for Premature Babies. There is no obligation to fundraise but we'll provide a fundraising page and we'd love it if you would consider sharing it to benefit premature babies.
