This Chinese New Year, we invite families, friends, and communities to come together in a shared act of kindness, helping provide essential neonatal equipment and care for premature babies across Australia.
HOW IT WORKS
Get Started
1. Register
Select GET MY LANTERN PACK, provide your details and we'll send a fundraising page link to your email address. When this page reaches at least $88 in fundraising or self-donations, we'll send you a Lantern Pack containing everything you need to craft your 88 lanterns.

2. Craft your Lanterns
You’ll receive your Lantern Pack in the mail within 3-5 days, containing 88 coloured paper sheets, glue, a template and instructions, and a string of LED lights to hang your 88 lanterns from. Craft these with your family and friends.
3. Share Your Page
Share your fundraising page with family, friends, colleagues, or your wider community.
We’ll provide ideas and resources to make sharing easy and meaningful.
Every share helps spread kindness and bring more light to babies who need it most.
4. Earn Fundrasing Rewards
We love rewarding you for helping premature babies.
Raise $500 and receive a Running for Premature Babies cap.
Raise $1000 and receive a copy of founder, Sophie Smith’s inspirational memoir Sophie’s Boys.
