How to log your KMs

CAN I START COUNTING MY KMS BEFORE NOVEMBER?

It's a great idea to start training for your Premmie Marathon Challenge before November and you can track your training kms on your fundraising page or the App. We will remove all of your activities on 31 October and reset your total to zero, ready for the start of your Premmie Marathon Challenge.

HOW DO I LOG MY DISTANCE?

Once you have registered for the Premmie Marathon Challenge you can start practicing logging your distance. All entries will be reset to zero on 31 October 2023.

You can choose any or all of these methods to log kms from different activities:

  • Log kms manually through the website
  • Log kms manually through the mobile app
  • Log kms automatically through the mobile app
  • Log kms automatically using Strava
  • Log kms automatically using FitBit
  • Log kms automatically using Garmin

Log kms manually through the website

  1. Go to your personal fundraising page. You can find it by clicking the link in your welcome email or by logging in on the home page. Click the dropdown arrow and select 'My Fitness Activity'
  2. Click '+Add Activity' and enter the Date, Distance (kms) and Activity Type. Optionally you can enter the number of Steps and Duration (mins)
  3. Save changes and this will be added to your page under 'Your Fitness Activity' and will sync with the mobile app

Log kms manually through the Mobile App

  1. Click below to download the Premmie Marathon Challenge App in the App Store or Google Play Store 
  2. Open the app, select 'Start Activity', then 'Log Activity'
  3. Enter the Date, Distance (kms) and Duration (mins)
  4. Log Activity.
  5. Check your activities by selecting your profile picture then 'Activities'

Log kms automatically through the Mobile App

  1. Open the app and select 'Start Activity' 
  2. Select 'Fitness Tracker' then the triangle play button
  3. Select 'Stop' at the end of the activity and it will be automatically added to your total on both the app and the website
  4. Check your activities by selecting your profile picture then 'Activities'

Log kms automatically using Strava

  1. Go to your personal fundraising page. You can find it by clicking the link in your welcome email or by logging in on the home page.
  2. On the app, select 'More', then 'Settings', then 'Connected Apps'
  3. On the website, login then click the dropdown arrow and select 'My Fitness Activity'
  4. Select Strava, use your Strava account login details then follow the prompts to sync
  5. Use your Strava app to track your activity and it will syncronise with the mobile app and website

If your activities are not syncing, log in and re-connect. 

Log kms automatically using FitBit

  1. Go to your personal fundraising page. You can find it by clicking the link in your welcome email or by logging in on the home page.
  2. On the app, select 'More', then 'Settings', then 'Connected Apps'
  3. On the website, login then click the dropdown arrow and select 'My Fitness Activity'
  4. Select FitBit, use your FitBit account login details then follow the prompts to sync
  5. Use your FitBit app to track your activity and it will syncronise with the mobile app

Note: Your daily steps will not automatically add to your page. You must start an activity and save it for it to be recorded. Your tally will be updated each day with the previous day’s distances.

If your activities are not syncing, log in and re-connect. 

Log kms automatically using Garmin

  1. Go to your personal fundraising page. You can find it by clicking the link in your welcome email or by logging in on the home page.
  2. On the app, select 'More', then 'Settings', then 'Connected Apps'
  3. On the website, login then click the dropdown arrow and select 'My Fitness Activity'
  4. Select Garmin, use your Garmin account login details then follow the prompts to sync
  5. Use your Garmin watch to track your activity and it will syncronise with the mobile app and website

If your activities are not syncing, log in and re-connect. 

Log kms automatically using:

  • Apple Watch
  • Garmin Connect
  • Polar Flow
  • Huawei Health
  • Samsung Health 
  • Withings Heath Mate
  • Whoop
  • Amazfit

 

  1. On the app, select 'More', then 'Settings', then 'Connected Apps'
  2. Select Apple Health, then follow the prompts to sync
  3. Use your device to track your activity and it will syncronise with the mobile app and website

If your activities are not syncing, log in and re-connect.
