Premmie Marathon Challenge 2025

Adalynn nicu

My baby girl came into the world at just 34+4 weeks, her arrival hastened by my severe preeclampsia and the need for an emergency induction. Tiny but fierce, she was whisked away to the NICU, where she received breathing and feeding support to help her grow stronger each day. Those early moments were a blur of monitors, tubes, and quiet prayers, but through every challenge she showed a resilience far beyond her size. Watching her fight and thrive in those first fragile weeks was both the hardest and most awe-inspiring experience of my life, and I'll forever admire her courage and strength. Just a few hours home she stopped breathing and turned blue, sending us racing back to the NICU. Those moments were some of the scariest and gut wrenching of my life, but through every setback, she proved her incredible strength. My little fighter has already faced more battles than most, and each day she reminds me what true courage looks like.

Help us give premature babies a better chance of survival

We feel so incredibly lucky that we were able to bring our baby home from the NICU, knowing that not every family gets to have that moment. Our time there was such a mix of fear, hope, and endless love, and it truly opened our eyes to just how much the right care and support can mean for these tiny little fighters. We saw so many brave babies and amazing parents going through the hardest days of their lives, and our hearts broke knowing that for some, the day they dream of bringing their baby home doesn't come. That's why this fundraiser means so much to us. By doing this run and raising money, we want to help give every family the best chance to take their baby home, to snuggle them in their own home, and to start their lives together outside those hospital walls. It's our way of saying thank you for the care we received, and of standing beside the families still on their NICU journey.

We'd love your support - if you can, please make a generous tax-deductible donation here.
