This June I’m running 75km to raise money for premature babies and their families 🤍

October last year my son was born at 32 weeks with Gastroschisis, meaning his intestines were on the outside of his body when he was born. What should have been the happiest moment of our lives quickly became filled with fear, surgeries, monitors, and weeks spent in the NICU.

He spent 7.5 weeks in hospital fighting from the very beginning, and watching such a tiny baby go through so much completely changed me forever.

The NICU journey is something you can never truly understand unless you’ve lived it. The emotional highs and lows, the uncertainty, and the strength these tiny babies show every single day stays with you forever.

Throughout June I’ll be running 75km to raise money and awareness for premature babies and their families because this cause is incredibly close to my heart. I know firsthand how important the support, care, and research is for families going through the hardest time of their lives.

Every kilometre is for the tiny fighters still in NICU, for the parents sitting beside hospital beds praying for better days, and for my son, my strongest little fighter 🤍
