Dig deep for the little tackers and we will punch out a Marathon!
Running for my son Owen, born 26+5 at Royal Women's Randwick.
Owen was born at 990grams last November. His birth was considered a spontaneous rupture PPROM, meaning that we had little time to prepare for his birth or understanding of the months to follow. Owen spent most of his journey in level 3, on NAVA respiratory support until he was strong enough to move closer to home.
For this reason, I run on behalf of my brave little man, and all of those babies that will follow in his footsteps.
I hope that by raising money, other babies and their families in our position will have the best possible start to life.
