Take on your own challenge

Thank you for your support!

Well friend!

I just want to say a quick thank you for your support. I hit my fundraising goal and achieved my goal in the race which was to get past 50km. I got there by 1km, running 51km in 6 hours, coming equal third in my category and it was all thanks to you.

Your support has meant the world to me and gave me an extra lift when I was down in the dumps.

More importantly, your donation is going to contribute to providing lifesaving equipment to sick and premmie babies and that's more important than anything in my humble opinion.

Thanks again,
Chris

Welcome to my page

Hey friend!

Thanks for reading & being here

I just wanted to share a few quick words about my why!

Our son Liam was born on the 11th of June 2022 at 30 + 3 weeks gestation via emergency c-section due to a cord prolapse

I think about him every second of every day & wish he was here!

I’m fundraising this year firstly, in honour of Liam, but secondly, in the hopes that one day we’ll live in a world where there’s a hell of a lot less than 26,000 babies born prematurely in Australia each year.

I'll run. They'll win. In memory of Liam Wood

Did you know that 26,000 babies are born prematurely in Australia each year, and many hospitals are in need of upgraded neonatal equipment to save their lives?

Our son, Liam, was one of them. He was born in June 2022, at 30 weeks' gestation, via emergency c-section due to a cord prolapse, weighing only 1.75kg.

In Feb 2026, I'm doing the 6-hour solo run at Dusk Til Dawn, with a goal of completing a minimum of 55km to raise funds to support the wonderful work of Running for Premature Babies in giving these premature babies a better chance of survival, and I’d really love your support.

This charity was founded in memory of baby triplets, Henry, Jasper & Evan Smith, who were unable to overcome their prematurity when they were born in 2006. Since then over $9 million has been raised, providing 150 pieces of life-saving equipment that has directly benefitted over 10,000 babies.

Your donation will help keep me motivated, knowing that my race is about so much more than my finishing time.

Any donation, no matter how big or small, will be greatly appreciated and will make a tangible difference to the lives of so many tiny babies.

All donations over $2 are tax deductible.

Thank you so much for your support!

For you Little man!
