Premmie Marathon Challenge 2025

For Toby!

Our twins, Toby and Hannah were born at 33 weeks at Mater Brisbane in 2021. Hannah sadly passed away 10 days prior to birth, while Toby was born breech. While a good weight, he was still tiny but mighty and needed life saving equipment in NICU. After a few days at the Mater, Toby was transported in the NeoRESQ van to our local hospital’s special care, where he spent the next 2 and a half weeks. He wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for the equipment, (and incredible staff) in those first weeks.

This November I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge

I’ll be clocking up my kms in the Premmie Marathon Challenge to raise funds for life-saving neonatal equipment that will give critically ill and premature babies a better chance of survival.

Our twins, Toby and Hannah were born at 33 weeks and sadly our Hannah passed 10 days prior. Toby came in a hurry, in the breech position and received life saving treatment at the Mater in Brisbane. From there, he was transported by the NeoRESQ van to our local hospital.

I'd love your support - if you can, please make a generous tax-deductible donation here.

Thank you for your support.
Your donation will help keep me motivated as I complete my challenge through November, knowing that each km I complete is helping save the lives of sick and premature babies.
