Addi is Back

Addi will be back for her 5th year in a row fundraising for running for premature babies 

 Addi will once again be running her grandparents 6 Acre property and as we all know she gives it her absolute all every year.

Addis big run has become such a special celebration for our little family, and something that is so close to our hearts. 

When Addi was born at 25 weeks & 1 day, just 710 grams I saw her bed that she lay in was donated by Running for premature babies, since then as a family we decided we will  always do our best to give back every year to such a phenomenal charity,
 A charity that helped saved her life. 

To look at Addi now you would have no idea what she went though, how hard she fought, all the scary times all the celebrations - each 10 grams gained celebrated - but also just how Lucky we are as a family to be where we are now. 

All we want to do is to be able to help any other family going through what we did, give all the mighty tiny babies the same chance Addi got. 

As a family we will forever be so grateful for Running for premature babies as thanks to this incredible foundation alongside the most phenomenal doctors and nurses Addi is now 5 and absolutely thriving

Did you know that 26,000 babies are born prematurely in Australia each year, and many hospitals are in need of upgraded neonatal equipment to save their lives?

I’m running to raise funds to support the wonderful work of Running for Premature Babies in giving these premature babies a better chance of survival, and I’d really love your support.

This charity was founded in memory of baby triplets, Henry, Jasper & Evan Smith, who were unable to overcome their prematurity when they were born in 2006. Since then over $9 million has been raised, providing 150 pieces of life-saving equipment that has directly benefitted over 10,000 babies.

Your donation will help keep me motivated, knowing that my race is about so much more than my finishing time.

Any donation, no matter how big or small, will be greatly appreciated and will make a tangible difference to the lives of so many tiny babies.

$42 - Could provide a jaundiced baby with access to a phototherapy light for 3.5 weeks. Jaundice is very common in premature babies and if left untreated can cause brain damage
