The Crank Triplets

THE CRANK TRIPLETS

Arzak, Caspian and Winston Crank were born prematurely at 28 weeks, which is 12 weeks early, and spent their first two and a half months in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the Royal Hospital for Women in Sydney.

Arzak weighed in at 1.14kg, Winston at 1.37kg and Caspian was a tiny 780g. The little boys were lucky to have access to life saving neonatal equipment which had been donated by Running for Premature Babies. Technologically advanced humidicribs, state of the art ventilators, life saving monitors and more supported the little trio who made it home on New Years Eve 2014, and have since thrived. Today they are bright, energetic and happy 8 year old boys who are enthusiastic participants of our annual Kids Fun Run, running and fundraising so others can be as lucky as they have been.
