MSC getting moving for premature babies
This November, our club is taking on Running for premature babies and this year, the cause is deeply personal to our entire club family, if it wasn't already.Back in August our Club President’s daughter, Aubree, was born prematurely at just 32 weeks. After a terrifying battle with severe preeclampsia that threatened both of their lives, Aubree arrived into the world not alive, and in desperate need of immediate medical intervention. Thanks to life-saving NICU equipment and dedicated medical staff, Aubree fought through 5 critical weeks in the NICU before she was strong enough to finally go home.
As a club, we stand together on and off the pitch. That’s why we’re lacing up our running shoes to walk, run, and move throughout November to raise funds for Running for Premature Babies. The money we raise will help fund vital neonatal equipment and research, supporting premature babies like Aubree and their families right across Australia.
