Wyatt’s Warriors

Our Why: Wyatt entered the world at just 31 weeks and 3 days, weighing only 1,040 grams. His arrival followed weeks of uncertainty after he was diagnosed with severe fetal growth restriction caused by a marginal cord insertion, an inefficient placenta and absent/reverse cord flow. His incredible mum spent weeks under the close care of the Maternal Fetal Medicine Unit before being admitted to hospital, where Wyatt was ultimately born via caesarean section.
Wyatt spent 50 days in the NICU and Special Care Nursery, facing challenges that no baby or family should have to endure. Throughout it all, he showed incredible strength, resilience and courage.
Now, at two years old, Wyatt is thriving. He is happy, healthy and completely adored by his family. Seeing the little boy he has become is something we will never take for granted.
Together, we’re doing this for Wyatt, and for every other little warrior still fighting to come home 💜
Every day in Australia, 71 babies are born prematurely
This November, we will be taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge to help give these babies a better chance at life.
Together, we'll be walking, running and moving throughout November while raising funds for Running for Premature Babies. The money we raise will help fund life-saving neonatal equipment and research, supporting premature babies and their families across Australia.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps provide the equipment and care these babies need during their most critical days.
We'd love your support. By donating to our team, you'll be helping us make every kilometre count for Australia's tiniest babies.
And if you'd like to be part of the challenge too, we'd love you to join our team (it's easy - just click JOIN OUR TEAM above). Choose your distance, get moving this November, and help us make an even bigger impact together.
Thank you for supporting us and helping more babies survive and thrive 💜
