Every day in Australia, 71 babies are born prematurely.
This November, I'm participating in the Premmie Marathon Challenge to help raise funds for life-saving neonatal equipment for hospitals around Australia, giving premature and critically ill babies the chance to grow stronger and go home with their families.
Nick & I are forever grateful for the amazing care Bella received at the Royal Women's Hospital during the first 84 days of her life. Bella was born prematurely at 29 weeks and 3 days, weighing only 780 grams. Specialised neonatal equipment such as incubators, CPAP & high-flow oxygen machines helped save Bella's life. This is why this charity is so important to Nick & me. We know firsthand just how vital this equipment is and the difference it can make to the lives of the tiniest, most vulnerable babies.Â
Thank you for supporting my challenge and helping Australia's tiniest babies. 💜
