I’m Running for Leo — and for All the Tiny Fighters in the NICU
After welcoming Leo into the world prematurely, we found ourselves in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) — a place we never expected to be, but one we quickly realised was absolutely vital.
While Leo’s needs weren’t as complex as some of the other brave little ones on the unit, our time in the NICU opened our eyes to a world of incredible care, strength, and resilience. We saw firsthand just how important these units are — not just for the babies, but for the families walking some of the hardest roads of their lives.
This year, I’ve decided to give back by taking part in the Premmie Marathon Challenge with Running for Premature Babies — an amazing organisation that raises funds for life-saving neonatal equipment across Australia.
Every dollar raised goes toward giving premature and critically ill babies a better chance of survival, and helping NICU staff provide the best care possible.
If you’re able to support this cause, I would be so grateful. Whether it’s $5 or $50, your donation will make a real difference to families like ours.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Keep up the hard work beautiful girl, Leo will be so proud of all the km's you will travel in his name!
