Pounding the pavement to raise funds for Premature Babies.

In April 2020 our little dudes Oscar and Monty were born 7 weeks early and  weighing just 1.58kg and 1.43kg respectively. They needed intensive care to start their life journey and spent the first 40 days of their lives in the hospitals Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
We are extremely grateful for the care and nurturing our family received during this time.
This level of care comes at cost! Far more then we as family could afford but we are now making a contribution to ensure that babies born prematurely in the future receive the same care Oscar and Monty received.
My wife Kira kicked off in 2020 by raising ~$3,600, I was inspired by her effort and humbled by the generous donations so this year I am joining  forces with the T-Winning team, endeavouring to raise a combined target of $5,000.
As many would appreciate, the body is a bit sleepy after 4 months of pandemic lock down so I'm setting a realistic goal of running 42km over 7 days and stretch target of 100km within the month of November!
So all the hard work is done by us, you just need to donate a few bucks and feel pretty good about yourself whilst the precious bubs in NICU get the best start to life possible...

My Updates

22nd Nov RFPB 11

Things are looked good!
I added a solid 13km to the tally last night. My injury is pretty much sorted and I’m looking good for the 100km.
Fundraising has slowed so need everyone’s support to hit the $2k goal.
43km to go!!

4th Nov Training Status

Sustained a knee injury during Oz Tag on Monday night, yep day 1 ?????
Anyway, onwards and upwards, I’ve been to the Physio and I am currently cycling through a treatment of ice, compression and anti inflammatories. We are confident I’ll be running again by Monday and the 100km is still our goal.

1st Nov We’re off and running !

I kicked off with a 4km run today with head trainer, Gus. Easy start as also have to save some fuel for footy tonight.
