Incredible Jack story

Jacks story-

I unknowingly had been diagnosed in 2021 with cardiomyopathy so due to my failing health- 

Jack was born on the 25/10/2024 at 28+6 weeks, weighing 1415grams. He spent 60 days in the NICU in the RBWH, until we were transferred back to Mackay Special Care on Christmas Eve and spent a further 3 days.. It was the hardest time of our lives, but what I saw was my baby that never gave up despite everything, never gave up! Those babies in there are built different they are born with a fire in their heart that will never be extinguished. Jack has just turned 1 nearly a week ago. Mr incredible Jack Jack I should say. He motivates me everyday to be brave and never give up. 

So this November and every November from now on. I will be taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge. I have chosen to walk 21km over the month for a cause very close to my heart. To raise money for much needed neonatal equipment. The same equipment that saved my sons life! As well as many other bubs.

This November I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge
