Premmie Marathon Challenge 2025

Hi Ya’ll! 

Yes I’m back at it again!  This time fundraising for something that is especially important to me and that is raising awareness and money to support premmie babies and their families! 

Born at 28 weeks on Christmas Eve 1990 instead of march 1991 myself to 18 year old parents, overcoming many challenges on my way to recovery  I’d like to give back to and hopefully raise money to support the lifesaving and around the clock care at times required to another family! Medicine and technology has greatly improved in the 34 years  but I’m truly grateful to be here even with my  few issues after overcoming hydrocephalus  and a 3rd degree brain haemorrhage. Out of all the things I could of had to continue to overcome in my life all I was left with was  partial Hearing loss, loss of full feeling on one side due to a stroke and  astigmatism and amblyopia which is so minimal in the scheme of things! I’m living a pretty normal life with a couple of hearing aids and contacts could be so much worse!

This November I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge

I’ll be clocking up my kms in the Premmie Marathon Challenge to raise funds for life-saving neonatal equipment that will give critically ill and premature babies a better chance of survival.
