This November I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge
When our son was born premature, it was the hardest and scariest time our family has ever faced. He had many complications, and the specialised equipment and care he received were critical for his survival. If he had been born somewhere more rural, where that equipment isn’t available, the outcome could have been very different.
That’s why this November I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge to raise funds for the essential equipment and support that give sick and premature babies their best chance at life. Every kilometer I complete is for the little fighters who arrive too soon, and for the families who, like mine, face those uncertain early days.
