This November I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge
Being a parent to a premature baby is absolutely terrifying.
Our little Zo was born at just 36 weeks — she’d stopped growing at 34 weeks, was diagnosed with failure to thrive and a hole in her heart. I was rushed in for an emergency C-section, and she came into the world blue, not breathing, and had to be resuscitated.
She spent time in the NICU before making an incredible recovery into the sassy, cheeky pain in the bum we adore today.
But not all families are as lucky.
This November, I’ll be clocking up the kilometres in the Premmie Marathon Challenge to raise funds for life-saving neonatal equipment — including the exact machine that helped save Zoey’s life.
If you’re able to, I’d love your support. Every donation (big or small) truly makes a difference — and it’s tax-deductible.
Your support will help keep me motivated through every kilometre, knowing that each step is helping give sick and premature babies a better chance at life.
