Help us give premature babies a better chance of survival
November is prematurity awareness month and we are participating in the Premmie Marathon Challenge.
We will be clocking up 100km together over the month to raise funds for life saving equipment for Neonatal Intensive Care and Special Care Units around Australia.
This cause is very close to our hearts, with both our boys being born prematurely. Here is a little about their stories.
Ollie was born at 34 weeks and luckily was doing well. He spent only 24 hours in a humidicrib and was able to come home after a week. Jack was born at 33 weeks and in respiratory distress. He needed a lot more help and equipment including an open care cot, continuous monitoring, CPAP, high flow oxygen and gastric tubes for feeding. He spent 3 weeks in the special care nursery before coming home. We are blessed they are both now healthy and thriving!
We would love your support, to raise funds for more equipment that our boys needed and other premmie babies need to give them the best chance. Any amount is greatly appreciated.
