For our boys, Luka & Niko
This November, we’re taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge in Canberra, committing to 300 kilometres in honour of our precious twin sons, Luka and Niko.
They arrived far too soon — born at 29 weeks and 4 days, weighing just 820g and 1170g. From their very first moments, they showed a strength and spirit that inspired everyone around them.
Our beautiful Luka lived for 23 unforgettable days. His time with us was short, but his impact on our hearts is everlasting. His beautiful twin brother, Niko, spent 110 days in the NICU and SCN, showing the same fierce determination and courage that his brother had.
We are running for them — for Luka, who we miss every single day, and for Niko, whose strength continues to amaze us. They are, and always will be, our strongest and bravest little fighters.
Through this challenge, we want to honour their journey, raise awareness for premature babies, and help support the incredible families walking this path.
Every step of our 300km is for Luka and Niko — with love, pride, and endless gratitude.
