Help us give premature babies a better chance of survival
Our little warrior Louis was born extremely preterm at only 27 weeks gestation and weighing 1030g. He spent a long 101 days in hospital where his life was saved by an incredible team more times than we can count.
1 in 10 babies are born preterm in Australia, and preterm birth is the leading cause of death and disability in children under 5 years old in the developed world. The amount of care and medical intervention that is required for extremely preterm babies in particular is astounding, and the level of care that we were able to receive for our littlest love amazes us every day.
If anyone would like to donate, we would really appreciate it!
We'll be clocking up kms in the Premmie Marathon Challenge to raise funds for life-saving neonatal equipment that will give critically ill and premature babies a better chance of survival.
We'd love your support - if you can, please make a generous tax-deductible donation here.
Thank you for your support.
Your donation will help keep us motivated as we complete our challenge through November, knowing that each km we complete is helping save the lives of sick and premature babies.
Fancy joining us? You can sign up for the Premmie Marathon Challenge too! Simply choose your challenge distance and start clocking your kms for premmie babies.
