This November I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge
As a lot of you would know, when we had the twins early at 34 weeks they were both transferred to Monash childrens hospital at different times.
Jasper was 3 days old when he first got transported via PIPER to Monash and then came back to traralgon after 3 days.
Harlow then had a spontaneous pneumothorax at 10days old and got rushed down to Monash childrens hospital via PIPER who had to stop on the side of the hwy and syringe her lungs for the trip until they could get her to the hospital and safely intubate her and put in a breathing tube and drainage tube into her lung. She was intubated for 10 days total.
We cannot thank the PIPER team and the nurses and doctors at Monash childrens hospital enough for saving our little princess ??
So as I have done every year since the twins were born I will be participating again this year to help fun vital equipment to help kids just like our babies ?
I'd love your support - if you can, please make a generous tax-deductible donation here.
Thank you for your support.
Your donation will help keep me motivated as I complete my challenge through November, knowing that each km I complete is helping save the lives of sick and premature babies.
Fancy joining me? You can sign up for the Premmie Marathon Challenge too! Simply choose your challenge distance and start clocking your kms for premmie babies.
