Our Two Wild Boys

Benji and Isaac, were born premature—Benji at 32+5 weeks due to an infection causing my waters to rupture and Isaac at 31 weeks via emergency C-section due to reduced foetal movement. As the month goes on we will share what we went through with the boys.

Both boys required help with breathing and feeding as well as a long list of other vital medical support to keep them safe and growing.  We all spent countless weeks at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide, far from our home in Loxton.

Being a parent while watching your tiny baby fight for every breath is hard. Not being able to hold them when you want, juggling hospital stays, mortgages, and basic living costs; the list goes on - it’s overwhelming.

Every dollar makes a difference for families navigating this challenging journey.

This November we are taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge

I’ll be clocking up my kms in the Premmie Marathon Challenge to raise funds for life-saving neonatal equipment that will give critically ill and premature babies a better chance of survival.

I'd love your support - if you can, please make a generous tax-deductible donation here.

Thank you for your support.
Your donation will help keep me motivated as I complete my challenge through November, knowing that each km I complete is helping save the lives of sick and premature babies.
