This November I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge

My little brother, Harvey, was born at 33 weeks and he spent 4 weeks in the special care nursery. When we were younger, Harvey and I ran in the Running for Premature Babies Fun Run at Coogee, and this year I decided to go a bit further and get some friends together for the Premmie Marathon Challenge!

In Australia, about 1 in 10 babies are born prematurely, so everyone probably knows someone who has been cared for in the special care nursery or NICU. We are hoping to raise funds for life-saving neonatal equipment that will give critically ill and premature babies a better chance of survival.
