Premmie Marathon Challenge 2025

This November we are taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge and running 200km over the month of November

In November 2024, our lives changed when we welcomed our beautiful baby boy, Nate, into the world, almost 7 weeks earlier than expected. Born at just 33.4 weeks, Nate spent the first three weeks of his life in the Special Care Nursery at Wagga Base Hospital.

Those weeks were filled with uncertainty, hope, and deep gratitude. Watching our tiny son connected to feeding tubes, monitors, and nestled in a humidity crib was one of the hardest things we've ever experienced. Each day, we had to leave our newborn behind, trusting in the incredible care of the nurses and midwives who became our lifeline.

We witnessed firsthand the tireless dedication of these healthcare heroes and the life-saving technology that helps premature babies not just survive, but thrive. Their compassion, skill, and strength carried us through the most vulnerable moments of our lives.

This November, we’re running for Nate, and for every premmie baby who needs a fighting chance. We’re running to honour the nurses, the midwives, and the miracle of modern medicine.

Every step we take is for the tiniest fighters with the biggest hearts.

You can help either by joining the Premmie Marathon Challenge too (www.premmiemarathonchallenge.com), or making a tax-deductible donation here.

Your donation will help keep us motivated as we complete the ‘marathon’ through November, knowing that each km we complete is helping save the lives of sick and premature babies.
