For awareness
While I have heard of premature babies nothing could have prepared me for the early arrival of our darling little Mason on October 1st 2025 at 8.17pm.He was 32+ 3 at birth and remains at PCH currently. This journey is not easy as parents and when I get around the corner from home or my parents home I instinctively cry as reality sets in that he is not home with his mummy and daddy.
This challenge came up on my facebook and as someone who is currently affected by this I felt compelled to join despite being having delivered via caesarean. I will be walking this challenge only as I am recovering and opted to do 21km for the month of November. November 23rd is Mason’s due date.

This November I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge
I’ll be clocking up my kms in the Premmie Marathon Challenge to raise funds for life-saving neonatal equipment that will give critically ill and premature babies a better chance of survival.
