This November I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge

I’ll be clocking up my kms in the Premmie Marathon Challenge to raise funds for life-saving neonatal equipment that will give critically ill and premature babies a better chance of survival. 

I’m walking for Ada, Marcie and Willa. Our girls spent 47 days in NICU between Mater Brisbane and Toowoomba base after being born at 32 weeks gestation. They required oxygen, cannula, humidity cribs, medication, constant monitoring and more I’m sure I’ve forgotten. 

Running For Premature Babies also sponsors a specialised ambulance used purely for neonatal! The NeoRESQ ambulance was the only way I could come back to Toowoomba when our girls were stable for transport and meant I was reunited with my family after 2 months away from home.
