Premmie Marathon Challenge 2026

I'm moving 213km to celebrate my baby, Nate.

Four years ago, my world changed in ways I could never have imagined. My beautiful boy, Nate, came into this world prematurely. Instead of the beginning we had hoped for, our journey started with fear, uncertainty and a lot of emotions that no parent should ever have to experience. When Nate was just six hours old, he stopped breathing. Six hours. As a mum, there are no words to describe the fear of not knowing what is going to happen to your baby. When you have a premature baby, you quickly learn that things you once took for granted become the biggest blessings. Every breath, every little milestone and every day that passes means more than words can explain. And now, here we are. Four years later. He is happy, healthy, full of life and growing into his own little person. Watching him run around, laugh, play and experience the world is something I will never take for granted. Sometimes I look at him and think about just how far he has come. I think about those first few weeks, the fear we faced and how different our lives could have been. It reminds me just how precious life is. I want to help spread awareness about premature birth, share our story and honour all the little fighters who begin their lives facing challenges no baby should have to face.

My Target

213KM

Every day in Australia, 71 babies are born prematurely.

This November, I'm taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge to give these babies the best chance at life.

The funds I raise will help Running for Premature Babies provide life-saving neonatal equipment for hospitals around Australia, giving premature and critically ill babies the chance to grow stronger and go home with their families.

If you're able to support me, I'd be incredibly grateful. Every donation helps fund the equipment and research that gives premature babies a better chance of survival and quality of life.

Thank you for supporting my challenge and helping Australia's tiniest babies. 💜
