This November I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge
James and I were blessed to meet our baby girl, Isabella June, at 25 weeks, as a pre-premiture bub.Unfortunately, even with the skills, knowledge and equipment at the JHH NICU, Isabella lost her fight to grow her lungs. However many, many babies thrive and get the opportunity to live their lives because of the NICU. Many families we met, hugged and cheered alongside celebrating milestones that at some point in their journeys they were unsure they would ever meet.
Please support James and myself in giving back to this world, by using our lungs in a way that Isabella unfortunately never got to. You can do this by donating, even just a small amount, or by volunteering to join alongside us and move your body in November.
There is tragedy in needing the NICU, but there is also hope and this is what this challenge raises funds for.
