This November I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge
My son was born 7 weeks premature and without the special equipment needed he wouldnt have been able to be welcomed home so soon or in such great condition. This experience has made me want to advocate for other premature babies and parents experiencing similar circumstances, it's never easy to be a premmie parent but bringing them home for the first time is the biggest achievement! It's state of the art equipment and skilled nurses and doctors that get them where they need to be which leads me to wanting to partake in a special challenge this November.
I’ll be walking 100kms in the Premmie Marathon Challenge to raise funds for life-saving neonatal equipment that will give critically ill and premature babies a better chance of survival.
I'd love your support - if you can, please make a donation or join the challenge!
Your support and donations will help keep me motivated as I complete my challenge through November, knowing that each kilometer I complete is helping save the lives of sick and premature babies.
Thank you for reading!
