miracles journey in NICU 5 and a half months
inhadiracle at 27 wks 5 days ,due to a marginal cord insert she had to be delivered, c-section,she was only just 622 grams I did t know what I was in for let alone what she was in for she had her up and downs had no major complications she had cld,and a bone disorder,she slowly grew she was released 147 sayd later on oxygen and a feeding tube ,the tube stayed in for 3 weeks then the oxygen stayed for 3 months at home ,she is now 3 and is thriving still delayed on some things but she is 3 in some other things so she's doin very good now ,hardly gets sick now (she was in n out alot had to go back on oxygen everytime we went back to hospital) but this year has been smooth for her ,couldn't be more proud of how she has come and will continue to grow into the beautiful little girl she isThis November I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge
I’ll be clocking up my kms in the Premmie Marathon Challenge to raise funds for life-saving neonatal equipment that will give critically ill and premature babies a better chance of survival.
