71KM
Every day in Australia, 71 babies are born prematurely.
71 kilometres for the tiniest fighters💜
This November I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge and walking 71km throughout the month to raise money for Running for Premature Babies.Â
This cause is incredibly close to my heart as our sweet Dottie was born prematurely at just 29 weeks. We spent 10 long weeks by her side in the Neonatal Unit and know firsthand just how frightening, overwhelming and emotional having a premature baby can be, but we also know how incredible neonatal teams and the equipment they rely on can be.Â
I’m walking these 71km for Dottie, for the babies currently fighting their way home and for the precious babies who are forever carried in the hearts of the families who loved them.
The Premmie Marathon Challenge raises funds for life-saving neonatal equipment and research to help give premature babies the best possible chance of survival.
If you’re able to donate, even a small amount would mean so much to me and would help support other tiny babies and their families.Â
Thank you for supporting me and the tiniest of fighters 💜
