This November I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge
In November I will be taking part in Premmie Marathon Challenge as it’s a very special charity, close to my heart.
Though Dean wasn’t technically premature when he was born he was very sick and it was the medical equipment and amazing nurses and doctors in the Special care nursery at Lyell McEwin Hospital that saved his life and I will forever be thankful. Because of them my tiny little boy has since done nothing but thrive, and you wouldn’t know that we had such a rough start.
When I discovered this charity I saw it was as an opportunity to help those who saved my boy, and spread awareness.
The Premmie Marathon Challenge raises funds for life-saving neonatal equipment that will give critically ill and premature babies a better chance of survival.
I'd love your support - if you can, please make a tax-deductible donation here.
Thank you for your support.
Your donation will help keep me motivated as I complete my challenge through November, knowing that each km I complete is helping save the lives of sick and premature babies.
Fancy joining me? You can sign up for the Premmie Marathon Challenge too! Simply choose your challenge distance and start clocking your kms for premmie babies
