Walking 200km in October for Our Preemie Miracle

When I look back at our time in the NICU, it still feels like a blur of beeping monitors, hushed voices, and endless prayers. Our tiny baby, born too soon, was placed in an incubator a little clear box that became her whole world for weeks. It was the hardest time of our lives, watching her fight for every single breath, but it was also where we witnessed the strongest kind of love and resilience.

The NICU became our second home. Days and nights blended together as we sat beside her, holding her tiny hand through the wires, willing her to grow stronger. The machines that surrounded her weren’t just equipment they were our lifelines. One ventilator in particular gave our daughter the chance to breathe when she couldn’t on her own. Without it, she wouldn’t be here today.

That’s why this October, I’m taking on a challenge close to my heart: walking 200km in 31 days for premature babies. Every step I take is for the families sitting by incubators right now, hoping and praying like we once did.

I know the journey won’t be easy, but compared to what our little girl went through, it feels like the least I can do. This fundraiser will help provide vital equipment, care, and support to premature babies and their families giving more tiny fighters the chance at life.

If you’re able to, I’d be so grateful if you could support me; whether that’s by donating, sharing, or simply cheering me on. Every little bit makes a huge difference. Together, we can help more babies go home to their families, just like ours did.

This Oct I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge

The NICU will always be such a big part of our lives. When our daughter was born, she was so tiny and fragile, and we watched as the machines around her kept her alive. One of those machines was the ventilator, it literally saved her life. Without it, we wouldn’t have our beautiful girl here with us today.

This October, I’ll be walking 200kms to raise money for new ventilators so that other families can be given the same chance we had. My goal is to raise $500, and every donation, no matter the size, will help provide life-saving care for another precious baby.

If you can, please donate and help me make a difference it would greatly appreciated
