This November I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge
This November, I’m taking part in the Premmie Marathon Challenge to raise funds for life-saving neonatal equipment that gives critically ill and premature babies the best chance at survival.
This cause is incredibly close to my heart. Earlier this year, we unexpectedly welcomed our twins at just 27 weeks and were immediately rushed to the NICU, where they spent weeks fighting for their lives. Seeing them so small and fragile was both heartbreaking and humbling. The care they received from the doctors, nurses, and specialists saved their lives—and gave us hope when we needed it most.
Our journey has been full of ups and downs. There were days of progress, moments when we saw our little ones growing stronger, and days that felt like one step forward, two steps back. But the difference in their care, the technology, and the neonatal equipment available made all the difference in their survival. That’s why I’m taking on this challenge. To raise funds for the very equipment that helped our babies—and will continue to help countless others.
Your donation will help provide essential neonatal equipment that gives premature babies the fighting chance they deserve. Each step I take in this challenge is a reminder of how far our twins have come and how much more support is needed for babies and families still in the NICU.
If you’d like to be part of this journey, you can sign up for the Premmie Marathon Challenge too! Choose your distance, start moving, and help us raise crucial funds for premature babies everywhere.
Thank you so much for your support—it truly means the world to us.
