In December 2025, our lives changed forever when our beautiful twins, Claire and Hugh, arrived earlier than expected.

Their early arrival meant a long and challenging journey ahead. Claire and Hugh spent 43 days in the Special Care Nursery at The Wesley Hospital in Brisbane, while we remained away from home and our support network in Kingaroy.

Those weeks were filled with uncertainty, tiny milestones, setbacks, lots of prayers and countless moments of hope. Our little fighters continued to grow stronger, and eventually we were able to bring our babies home.

We are so grateful for the incredible care they received at the Wesley, and for the love, support and prayers of everyone who stood beside our family throughout this journey.

Now, at 9 months old, Claire and Hugh are thriving, growing beautifully and bringing so much joy to our family. They have already shown us just how strong they are, and we are incredibly proud of our two little miracles.

Every day in Australia, 71 babies are born prematurely.

This November, I'm taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge to give these babies the best chance at life.

The funds I raise will help Running for Premature Babies provide life-saving neonatal equipment for hospitals around Australia, giving premature and critically ill babies the chance to grow stronger and go home with their families.
