Our Story
Riley was born at 32 week due to a grade 4 planceta previa which caused me to have an emergency caesarean.The Giraffe Incubator was what gave Riley a huge fighting chance to survive. He lived in the Incubator for 17 days before being transferred into an open crib. He was born with a few complications but overcame them in a short time. He is now a thriving 4.5yr and challenging everything I know about parenthood.
This November I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge
I’ll be clocking up my kms in the Premmie Marathon Challenge to raise funds for life-saving neonatal equipment that will give critically ill and premature babies a better chance of survival.
