I'm walking 142km to celebrate my baby, Arlo Heslington.
Our little boy Arlo arrived at just 36 weeks and, although we were so excited to meet him, his start to life wasn’t quite as easy as we had hoped. He was transferred to Monash Children’s Hospital after developing a pneumothorax and spent a week in hospital. He needed CPAP to help him breathe and had a feeding tube through his nose while he worked on feeding and growing stronger. It was a scary and emotional week, but watching our little boy fight through it all was something we will never forget. ❤️ Thankfully, Arlo is now home with us, doing so well and absolutely loving life! 🥰 Because of everything he went through, premature and sick newborn babies hold a very special place in our hearts. That’s why I’m taking on the November Preemie Challenge and raising funds to help support premature babies and their families. If you’re able to donate, every little bit helps. And if you can’t donate, sharing this page or even taking part in the challenge yourself would mean so much to us. ❤️ We’re incredibly grateful that Arlo is home, healthy and thriving and we’d love to help give other premature babies the same chance. 🩵

My Target
142KM
Every day in Australia, 71 babies are born prematurely.
This November, I'm taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge to give these babies the best chance at life.
The funds I raise will help Running for Premature Babies provide life-saving neonatal equipment for hospitals around Australia, giving premature and critically ill babies the chance to grow stronger and go home with their families.
If you're able to support me, I'd be incredibly grateful. Every donation helps fund the equipment and research that gives premature babies a better chance of survival and quality of life.
Thank you for supporting my challenge and helping Australia's tiniest babies. 💜
