We've done it!

Wow - what a big 28 days!

We've completed our goal of walking/riding 200 kms during November, and thanks to all you generous sponsors you've helped us almost triple our fundraising goal!

It's been tough work to get out there every day, but each time we reminded ourselves what this is all about - raising funds to provide life-saving equipment for premmie & sick babies in hospitals around Australia. The most vulnerable of us need us to fight with them and do all we can for them, and this is our bit.

But just because November is done it doesn't mean we stop caring for this wonderful cause. We look forward to participating in this every year.

Please consider continuing to donate. Just because the November Challenge is done it doesn't mean the funds are no longer needed.

Here We Go!

Hi Everyone!

The 4 of us - The Broadbent-Farrington Family Fundraisers have pledged to walk/ride/run/swim/whatever 200 km during November to raise vital funds for life-saving neonatal equipment that will give critically ill and premature babies a better chance of survival.

We'd love your support to help us reach our goal of donating $710. This may seem like a specific number, but it was chosen for a very good reason. Annabel, the youngest member of our family who was born at 24 weeks and thanks to the amazing work of the NICU staff and equipment at Royal Women's Hospital in Sydney she is now a happy, healthy & thriving 12-year old.

This November we're taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge

We’ll be clocking up our kms in the Premmie Marathon Challenge to raise funds for life-saving neonatal equipment that will give critically ill and premature babies a better chance of survival.

$42 - Could provide a jaundiced baby with access to a phototherapy light for 3.5 weeks. Jaundice is very common in premature babies and if left untreated can cause brain damage

$60 - Could provide a technologically advanced humidicrib for a sick or premature baby for 5 days. These humidicribs have been described as ‘the next best thing to the womb’

$187 - Could provide a life-saving resuscitation cot for 23 babies born in distress and needing assistance to breathe.
