Our Rain, Our Reason for Running 💜

Two years ago, we welcomed our beautiful daughter, Rain, into the world earlier than expected at just 34 weeks, weighing only 2,390 grams.

Those first weeks were some of the most challenging and emotional moments our family had experienced. For almost two months, we were surrounded by doctors, nurses and neonatal care teams who helped us care for Rain, monitor her progress and give her the support she needed.

Through all the uncertainty, our faith in God gave us strength. We prayed, trusted in His guidance, and felt His blessings through the people He placed around us. The compassion and dedication of Rain’s doctors, nurses and everyone who cared for her gave us hope during the moments when we needed it most.

We will always be grateful to God and to the incredible people who cared for our little girl. Having access to the medical care and support Rain needed was a blessing our family will never forget.

Today, Rain is our beautiful reminder of God’s grace, answered prayers, and the difference that dedicated neonatal care can make. 💜

That is why this November, we are taking part in the Premmie Marathon Challenge.

We are running for Rain, but also for the babies and families who are going through the same difficult journey we once experienced. This is our small way of giving back, sharing the blessings we received, and helping lessen the burden for another family.

Every kilometre will be run with gratitude, faith and prayer—for every little fighter, their families, and the amazing people caring for them.
