This November I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge
I’ll be clocking up my kms in the Premmie Marathon Challenge to raise funds for life-saving neonatal equipment that will give critically ill and premature babies a better chance of survival.
As a mother of 2 premature babies Alkira and Kaidyn. I fully support this and am so getting involved and would love your support as well, make a donation or join up like I did every bit helps and the equipment needed are so vital and play a very important role in helping bubba's to come home safely and healthy. If it wasn't for the equipment I know alkira wouldn't have survived being just under 1940grams and not feeding. By the time I had kaidyn 14 years later technology had peeked and had come along way since 2008 but it was still a scary process even with him being rushed to RCH at a day old amd me not going with him again the equipment and the team saved his life.
I would like to also mention not only the equipment but the nurses and doctors that work in the special care units deserve such an appreciation that's beyond words. They are just amazing totally different from th3 maternity wards.
