This November I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge

I’ll be clocking up my kms in the Premmie Marathon Challenge to raise funds for life-saving neonatal equipment that will give critically ill and premature babies a better chance of survival.

Leo depended on neonatal equipment in the first few weeks of his life. Coming 5 weeks early, he was growth restricted and had under developed lungs needing to be tube fed, be on CPAP and have photo therapy for his jaundice.

$42 - Could provide a jaundiced baby with access to a phototherapy light for 3.5 weeks. Jaundice is very common in premature babies and if left untreated can cause brain damage
