My reasons

Not only am i doin this for Dakota who was born 4 weeks early. But also for my 2nd family.
My 1st partner was born at 30 weeks (10 weeks early).  Sadly he passed in 2011 from brain cancer
His surviving twin sister was born at 28 weeks but was the size of a 26 weeker and was born with a number of issues due to the other twin passing away in utero at 24 weeks. She fought hard and survived for 14 years before sadly passing away in 2012 due to her health from being born so early
His younger brother who he never got to meet was born at 28 weeks but stopped growing around 25+4 weeks. He spent his 1st 18 months roughly in NICU/hospital. Through the amazin advancement and skills he was left with little issues from being early. His main issue was immune issues and lung disease. Sadly he did pass in 2019 at 5 years old due to complications from the flu due to being premie and having lung disease

Every day in Australia, 71 babies are born prematurely.

This November, I'm taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge to give these babies the best chance at life.

The funds I raise will help Running for Premature Babies provide life-saving neonatal equipment for hospitals around Australia, giving premature and critically ill babies the chance to grow stronger and go home with their families.

If you're able to support me, I'd be incredibly grateful. Every donation helps fund the equipment and research that gives premature babies a better chance of survival and quality of life.

Thank you for supporting my challenge and helping Australia's tiniest babies. 💜
