Achilles the Warrior
Achilles was born at 30+1! At 20weeks we found out he had Tetralogy of Fallot a Heart Condition where he was born with 4 holes in his heart. As he was born premature he wasn’t able to breathe on his own until he was able to have Open Heart Surgery which he had at 3.5months (1.5 months corrected) at the time of surgery he weighed 3.5kgs. Since then he has grown to be such a strong boy. He is heart healthy and is just like any other child. Without the help of the hospitals and their facilities we don’t know where we would be now. We will never take him for granted and are so grateful. This November I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge
I’ll be clocking up my kms in the Premmie Marathon Challenge to raise funds for life-saving neonatal equipment that will give critically ill and premature babies a better chance of survival.
I'd love your support - if you can, please make a generous tax-deductible donation here.
Thank you for your support.
Your donation will help keep me motivated as I complete my challenge through November, knowing that each km I complete is helping save the lives of sick and premature babies.
Fancy joining me? You can sign up for the Premmie Marathon Challenge too! Simply choose your challenge distance and start clocking your kms for premmie babies.
