What a great way to raise money! I have enjoyed every km.. the hardest part was getting out of the house but you guys kept me motivated! I have raised over $2500. My first goal was $500!! I am so grateful to all the sponsors!! Some having their own tough premmie journey. The charity has raised over $1.3mil so far, how cool is that?!! Maybe Orange SCN will receive some critica life saving equipment for our surprise prems born here, let's hope. Thanks again everyone!!!

4 laps of Lake Canobolas= 10km. Beautiful company thanks Nicole and beautiful scenery. Baby ducks, baby cows and no snakes were seen yay!

Variations 5-7km walks around duntry league and the neighbourhood, what i could fit in before work and the multiple other chores us mums have to do, or after kids bedtime before the sun went down. November has been such a lovely month to walk, beautiful weather and swooping season is over

Today Sam and I are in fashionable Melbourne for my friends wedding.

We set out at 9am? Cure our little hangovers and off we went. Down along the river where are school kids regatta was on. Up through the botanic gardens, so beautiful. And back though the city to Queen Vic Markets where I tried looking for a special lolly shop, one where they make the candy in store, to buy the kids a souvenir, info man told me it shut down like 10yrs ago!! way to make me feel old!! Anyway grab

some Thai and called in a day, from the walking sides of things.. Lucky I bought myself some cute little 5cm mum heels to wear to the wedding. 10kms down 52 to go!!

Day 10

Evening walk around Duntry League. Motivation wasnt high on a monday evening after a big day at work, but off I went and felt good afterwards. Thank you to my sponsors keeping me motivated!! 35kms done!

Day 9

Sunday morning was freezing, 5deg felt like 1, doesn't make for an enjoyable walk! Grateful for my sponsors! Keeping me motivated. 30kms done!

Saturday morning stroll around Duntry League. The legs took a bit to get going after walking 10kms on Thursday. 26kms done!

clocked up 10kms at Canobolas Lake today, shout out to my bestie Nicole for walking 4 laps with me :)

Day 1

Took Piper along for my first walk for the month. I wasnt sure how far we'd get before she got over it. Our plan was to count the dogs we saw. She fell asleep about 20mins in so not many dogs were counted, but i got a good 5.8km in. Made it home before the rain. 94.2km to go!

This November I’m taking on the Premmie Marathon Challenge

This November, I’m walking 100km for Running for Premature Babies—a cause that’s incredibly close to my heart. As a midwife and neonatal nurse, I’ve cared for countless premature babies. But I’ve also lived it as a mum. My daughter Hazel was born at just 34 weeks, needing urgent medical care—intubation, CPAP, jaundice therapy, and a transfer to a country hospital for continued support.

Every step I take is for babies like Hazel babies born too soon. Funds raised will go directly toward life-saving equipment and care that gives premature babies a better start to life.
